The metaverse, a contraction of meta and universe, appeared in science fiction and gaming universes. Today, it is a shared collective space that offers an enhanced immersive experience. Composed of several distinct spaces, users, in the form of customisable avatars, have access to it via different platforms.

According to Gartner1 , 30% of companies will have products and services in the metaverse in the near future.
